BIG DISTRICT WIN!

The CRUSADER varsity earned a split in the season series with rival Northland Christian, 8-1. The visitors were down 0-1 after the first, but responded with 5 runs over the next two innings and played stellar defense behind Richard Gibbs complete game, 7 strikeout, 1 hit gem. The win pushed the SADERS record to 6-12 (4-5) and also gives the CRUSADERS the tie breaker (run differential) in a playoff scenario with Northland. The CRUSADERS have five big games remaining, beginning Wednesday night at Houston Christian.
