With guts, desire, and some luck, the Crusaders advanced to Saturday's 7 pm Championship game of the Cleveland Rotary Tournament by defeating the Splendora Wildcats 9-8. Drew Janszen continued the trend of timely pitching by going six innings for the win. The Crusaders entered the seventh inning down by two runs but battled back, putting themselves in a position to win on two Wildcat errors. Dayton Parker slammed the door shut in the seventh retiring the side in order.
Thanks to all the CLHS friends and family who cheered us on during the game! Come out and see the Crusaders "Aim High" for a tournament championship!
